2011 ANHS PTSA Scholarship
Information and Application Forms
 
The Aliso Niguel High PTSA maintains a scholarship fund to acknowledge deserving seniors in the areas of academics, community service and personal achievements, with an emphasis on community service.  Scholarships are solely funded through donations from the ANHS community received in the Fall.  Last year, 10,000 was available for student scholarships.  Each spring, scholarships are awarded to be used for expenses at four-year colleges and universities (college scholarships) as well as community college or trade school expenses (vocational scholarships). 

All seniors who are PTSA members and have met certain minimum academic requirements are invited to apply for one of these scholarships.  (You may join the PTSA at any time for the sum of $6.00.)  To qualify for an academic scholarship, you must have maintained a 3.25 grade point average and have a combined SAT score of at least 1500 under the new SAT or have an ACT score of 22 or higher.  To qualify for a vocational scholarship, you must have a minimum GPA of 2.0.  SAT or ACT scores are not prerequisites for those students seeking vocational scholarships.

2011 Capistrano Unified Council PTSA Scholarship
 
The Capistrsano Unified Council PTSA (CUCPTSA) also maintains a scholarship fund to acknowledge deserving seniors in the areas of academics, community service and personal achievements, with an emphasis on community service. 

All seniors in CUSD high schools who are PTSA members and have met certain minimum academic requirements are invited to apply for one of these scholarships.  (You may join the PTSA at any time for the sum of $6.00.)  To qualify for a scholarship, you must have maintained a 2.0 grade point average.   
Forms are due to CUCPTSA and
must be postmarked no later - to be announced.

2011 California State PTA Scholarship Information
The State PTA offers graduating High School Senior Scholarships in the amount of $500 each.  This scholarship recognizes volunteer service in the school and community and does not have a grade point average restriction or requirement.  A copy of the applicants current PTA/PTSA Membership card must be submitted with the application.  Look for more information at www.capta.org.
