Safety Information Related to ANHS Students Niguel Hills Middle School PTSA and the Laguna Niguel Sheriff Present: E-Bike and Bike Information for Laguna Niguel September 23, 2021   Aliso Creek not a Crosswalk Orange County Park Ranger Joe Noval attended our September 12, PTSA meeting and expressed concern that Aliso Niguel students are crossing over the Aliso Creek spillway and through the Skate Park on their way to and from school instead of walking down the Aliso Creek trail to Aliso Creek Road. Some of these students are also running across Alicia, mid-block, often to the surprise of unsuspecting drivers traveling at 50 mph. Students have already asked for first aide from staff at the Laguna Niguel Skate Park after injuring themselves crossing the creek. The Orange County Park Service, Orange County Sheriff’s Department and Aliso Niguel PTSA urge you to speak to your student about safe routes to school. Aliso Creek is posted no trespassing.
