National PTA Reflections 2007/2008
"I can make a difference by......"
Each year, the National PTA Reflections Program challenges students to create art that supports a specific theme. Themes are selected from thousands of ideas submitted by students to the National PTAs Reflections Program Theme Search. The theme for the 2007-2008 season is "I can make a difference by...."
If you are looking for a way to show others your talent as a photographer, visual artist, short story writer, or music composer, don’t miss the Reflections Program! Two new categories were added just last year – dance and film/video production. This year’s theme is "I can make a difference by....". Think about what it means to you, and let your talent shine by creating an original piece of artwork in one of the six following categories:
Photography, Visual Arts, Literature, Musical Composition Dance Choreography and Film/ Video Productions
The goal of the Reflections Program is participation and appreciation for the arts.
Entry packets will be available in the guidance office in September.
National PTA does not limit the number of entries a student may submit.
A student may develop an entry in or outside of school.
All participants will be acknowledged in the PTSA newsletter, Wolverine World.
All entries will be due at the end of October, 2007. Results of the initial judging will be available the first week of December.
